7:45 am Men's Senior Veteran's Singles I and II (70+)
Starting us off is Ken Iscol '60, in bow #24 rowing for Maritime RC.
9:50 am Men's Senior Master Eights (50+)
There are several Cornell-related entries in this race. Zeph Halsey '03 is helping out the older guys at Riverside as the six man in their boat that starts as bow #6. He'll be getting chased by bow #11 - the Cornell University Alumni boat with six Cornell alumni:
7: Paul Salyards '86
6: Peter Klose '89
5: Rob Dupcak '91
4: Dave Kearing '88
2: Terry Crimmins '86
1: Jamie Hintlian '82
Their entry is coxed by Emory Spector - daughter of Eric Spector '86.
Following later in the pack as bow #28 is a Cambridge BC entry that includes four Cornell alumni:
Todd Kennett '91
Andy Kalfelz '88
Jeff Goddard '88
Greg Wilkins '86
Look for these guys to be passing a lot of competitors as this is basically a combination of a four that took 3rd last year in the Masters 4+ and a CBC boat that has won both the Masters and Senior Masters 4+ races in years past.
Right behind them in bow #30 is the Occoquan International Veteran's eight entry with Mike Mcguirk '63 as seven seat.
Then, in bow #55 Adrian Nino de Rivera Frost '07 is anchoring the Western Reserve Rowing Association from the six seat.
Finally, in bow #57, John Carl '84 is in the Narragansett BC entry, also in the six seat. Looks like Cornell alumni are asked to power a lot of boats!
10:29 am Men's Senior Master Fours (50+)
In the 1980 Rowing Club, bow #3, Mike Totta is the two-man in a fast Grand Master entry. The Cornell University Alumni entry here, starting as bow #28, has four Cornell alumni:
4: David Barclay '86
3: Brad Boericke '86
2: David Stanton '87
1. Ivan Rudolph-Shabinsky '86
This combination, with Crimmins instead of Boericke, took 11th in 2014. So expect them to move up in the pack and consider this a seat race between Crimmins and Boericke.
11:11 am Men's Master Double (40+)
Bow #10, in Event #10, Scott Whitney and Eric Hagberg are the Narragansett BC entry in this race.
11:40 am Women's Master Double (40+)
Bow #13, the entry from CRI, has Deb Gerardi Kemper '88 in bow.
11:50 am Women's Senior Master Double (50+)
Bow #20, the entry from Green Mountain Rowing, has Meredity (Haff) Breiland '00 stroking. You do the math. Meredith works for C2 and says any Cornellian who comes by the C2 tent and says "BMA" gets a special giveaway.
12:19 pm Men's Senior Masters Singles (40+)
Ken Itrato '94 is racing as bow #33 for Cambridge BC. He'll be getting chased by his classmate Marty Van Der Heide '94 who starts for Cascadilla BC in last place - bow #36.
