All our graduates don't become Olympians...

But some do, like Tracy Eisser, pictured above, who placed first at 2018 Worlds in the 8+ and second at 2017 Worlds in the pair after placing 5th in Rio in the quad. Or, Alex Karwoski, who graduated Cornell as a Civil and Environmental engineer in 2012. Alex competed in the men's eight that finished 4th at the Rio Olympics, then raced in the 8+ at Worlds in 2017, 2018 and 2019 including a second place finish in 2017. All told, the Big Red has sent 20 rowers on to represent Team USA at the Olympics, and many more have gone on to row at the Worlds both on the U23 and senior teams. There are, in fact, a number of Cornell rowers continuing on the tradition of Olympic rowing, but many more who are now simply racing as masters rowers around the world. Many Cornell alumni row together at events such as the Head of the Charles, US Rowing Masters Nationals and others. To help keep everyone abreast of alumni rowing opportunities, we present an event calendar that includes any events we hear about that our alumni are participating in.
