Donald R. Worn

Don was born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey on April 28, 1928, and raised in the suburbs of NYC. He graduated from Cornell University in mechanical engineering, moved his wife Ethel to California where they eventually settled in the SF Bay Area. Don was active with the Los Gatos Town Council and High school boards. After his career at Lockheed Martin, Don continued with many volunteer services including AARP tax assistance, Second Harvest Food Bank, and ushering for the San Francisco Opera and Ballet.

He is preceded in death by his wife Ethel of over 60 years and is survived by his children George, Katherine, Richard and Mary, and his grandson Rex. Don’s ashes will be placed in the memorial garden at the Presbyterian Church of Los Gatos. A future service will be announced.
